Quick Notes for Visitors
- Friday is a Holy Day. Many government offices and some attractions open later in the day.
- Cultural Clothing:
- Abaya: Traditional dress for women, often worn with a headscarf.
- Kandura: Traditional long white robe worn by men.
- Abayas and headscarves are often provided at mosque entrances. Visitors are not required to wear these, but modest clothing is appreciated in public spaces.
